I was born in Croatia in 1981 and immigrated to Australia in 1996 with my parents and younger brother at the end of the Balkan wars. We settled in Perth, WA, where I completed high school and pursued further studies in Computer Science, beginning my career in Information Technology at Curtin University of Technology. Alongside work, I nurtured my creativity through music and storytelling, often engaging in philanthropic activities. During one of these overseas volunteer projects in Africa, I met Kahlie, whose compassion, strong sense of justice, and deep desire to improve the lives of others immediately stood out. Drawn together by our shared desire to make a difference in the world, our mutual attraction grew, and we tied the knot in 2006. We now have three daughters: Ella, 14, Mia, 11, and Lila, 9.

My passion for creativity eventually led me to transition into film and media. I worked as a Creative Director at Limelight Media & Design before joining Adventist Media in 2010 as a Media Producer and Assistant Communication Director, a role I held for 11 years. After two years of lockdown in WA due to COVID, my family and I relocated to the Gold Coast, Queensland. Since the move, I’ve completed Diplomas in Screen and Media and Music Industries – Sound Production. I also spent two years at Hillsong Church in Brisbane as a Camera Operator and Technical Director. Currently, I work as a freelancer, primarily filming episodes for The Incredible Journey TV show, which has taken me to various locations around the world.
